Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu enquired with the the officials over reports of diarrhoea cases in Tallavalasa village of Santabommali mandal in Srikakulam district. He directed the officials to conduct house to house survey to identify the diarrhoea cases and reasons for the spread of disease.

The officials informed the Chief Minister that nine persons were affected with diarrhoea and were admitted to Tekkali government hospital. They said one person Chinna Rao (70) died of multiple organ disfunction and heart attack.They said that at present they are supplying drinking water through tankers.

The officials said district Panchayat officer, SE and Deputy DMHO are camping in the village and conducting door to door survey to know the reasons of spread of diarrhoea.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure better treatment facilities to diarrhoea patients and study the situation in neighbouring villages also.
